1. Found Objects Print
Gather Your Supplies:
These are the tools we used to create our Found Objects Printed Treat Bag:
- Leaves, plants, etc
- Paint or printing ink
- Paint brush
- Canvas bag or paper
Create your Found Objects Printed Treat Bag:
Step 1:
Go on an adventure outside and collect your favorite leaves that have fallen.
Step 2:
Use a paintbrush to brush a thin layer of paint on the bottom side of the leaf (too much paint will cause a misprint).
Step 3:
Practice printing on paper first, and then when ready, print on your canvas bag.
Step 4:
TIP: When printing, press firmly on the leaf straight down to get a clean print, moving side to side will cause the leaf imprint to smear.
Step 5:
Let dry and enjoy your treat bag!
2. Carved Eraser Print
Gather Your Supplies:
These are the tools we used to create our Eraser Printed Treat Bag:
- School erasers
- Paint or printing ink
- Paint brush
- Linoleum Cutter Tools
- Canvas bag or paper
- Pencil or pen
Create your Eraser Printed Treat Bag:
Step 1:
Draw your design on the eraser (a simple design is best)
Step 2:
Using a Linoleum Cutter Tool, slowly begin carving around your design, leaving the area you want to be printed.
Step 3:
Use a paintbrush to brush a thin layer of paint on the eraser (too much paint will cause a misprint).
Step 4:
Practice printing on paper first, and then when ready, print on your canvas bag.
Step 5:
Let dry and enjoy your treat bag!
3. Potato Print
Gather Your Supplies:
These are the tools we used to create our Potato Printed Treat Bag:
