Waldorf window stars are a beautiful way to practice your handwork and decorate your windows! Using vibrant kite paper and simple techniques, we’ll guide you step-by-step to create these magical 8-point window stars.
Gather Your Supplies:
These are the tools we used to create our 8 Point Waldorf Window Star:
- Waldorf Kite Paper
- Glue
- Scissors
Create your 8 Point Waldorf Window Star:
Step 1:
Start with a square of kite paper. For smaller stars (shown here), cut your kite paper square into fourths.
Step 2:
Fold your kite paper in half diagonally.
Step 3:
Open after folding in half, and fold the two corners to the center.
Step 4:
Fold outside to the center and crease down.
Step 5:
Open up the last fold as shown below.
Step 6:
Fold bottom corners to the center line and crease down.
Step 7:
Fold top corners to the side lines and crease down as shown below.
Step 8:
Do this a total of 8 times. Glue the pieces together as shown below, with the bottom line of one point aligned with the center line of the other.
Step 9:
Place on your window and enjoy!
