Celebrate the beauty of fall with these kite paper window pumpkins! You can make these in a variety of colors and sizes to customize your very own pumpkin patch.
Gather Your Supplies:
These are the tools we used to create our Waldorf Kite Paper Window Pumpkin:
- Waldorf Kite Paper
- Glue
- Scissors
Create your Waldorf Kite Paper Window Pumpkin:
Step 1:
Start with a square of kite paper. For smaller pumpkins (shown here), cut your kite paper square into fourths. Fold your kite paper in half diagonally.
Step 2:
Fold in half diagonally again.
Step 3:
Open the top triangle and press flat to form a diamond.
Step 4:
Repeat on the other side.
Step 5:
Take one side and fold to the center and crease down.
Step 6:
Take the top corner and fold to the center and crease down.
Step 7:
On the opposite side fold the side to the center and crease down.
Step 8:
Fold the top corner down to the center as shown and crease down.
Step 9:
Open the fold and press flat.
Step 10:
Flip over and fold the corners down as shown below.
Step 11:
Cut a strip of green kite paper and glue to the back side of the pumpkin leaving a small strip poking out as shown.
Step 12:
Attach to your window and enjoy!
